Well 2013: the year on the brink of the “Fiscal Cliff” where once again, money and financial issues dominant, complicate and frustrate our lives. We are still constantly bombarded with the idea that finances control our lives, and give the impression of whether we are well off (rich or blessed) or not. In addition, the concept of equating financial gain or wealth with blessing is a constant issue. Economics and financial gain remain the number one concern in American society. The most recent presidential election was dominated by this theme, as “Billions” of dollars were wasted on campaigns that left America in the same financial and spiritual condition (on the brink of financial ruin and on the edge of a “Fiscal Cliff” and still bankrupt in the blessing of the Lord). Remember, it is only the blessing of the Lord that makes you rich and adds no sorry (Proverbs 10:22). If we trust in the Lord with all of our heart and do not rely on our own understanding, He will direct our paths in 2013 and steer us clear of the “Fiscal Cliff”
